Coats Digital was pleased to participate in the recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) Luncheon hosted by the Hong Kong Apparel Society (HKAS), bringing together apparel industry leaders to discuss innovation, collaboration and the future of garment manufacturing.

Representing Coats Digital, our Country Sales Manager – Max Law delivered a presentation titled “How AI & GSD Method Can Empower Garment Manufacturers on Achieving Manufacturing Excellence”. The session explored how digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and GSD methodologies can help manufacturers improve operational efficiency, optimise costing accuracy and enhance productivity across apparel production processes.

During the presentation, attendees were introduced to Coats Digital’s innovative solutions, including demonstrations of GSDQuest AI Costing, which highlighted how manufacturers can leverage data-driven technologies to calculate Standard Minute Values (SMVs), improve production planning and achieve greater cost transparency. Live demonstrations provided practical insights into how AI-powered tools can support smarter and more agile decision-making within the apparel supply chain.

The event also created an excellent platform for networking and knowledge sharing among industry professionals, with engaging discussions around emerging retail trends, experiential fashion concepts and the evolving role of technology in the apparel sector.
