Coats Digital and Coats Group jointly participated in Texprocess 2026 — the leading international trade fair for the processing of textiles and flexible materials. Held in Frankfurt, Germany, the exhibition showcased the latest advancements in garment manufacturing, including AI-driven automation, robotics, cutting, sewing and embroidery technologies, alongside innovations supporting the circular economy.

Running from 21–24 April 2026, the four-day event focused on three major industry themes:

• Automation & AI – Live demonstrations highlighted smart software, 3D simulation and automated robotics designed to optimise production efficiency and minimise waste.
• Digitalisation – Exhibitors showcased highly integrated process controls, digital pattern-making and precision manufacturing capabilities.
• Sustainability – Seminars and presentations explored the industry’s transition towards a circular economy, with a strong focus on resource-efficient finishing and recycling technologies.

Held alongside Techtextil, the event provided attendees with valuable end-to-end insights into the global textile and apparel value chain — from raw fibre through to the finished product. The integrated Texprocess Forum also brought together industry experts and researchers to discuss global market trends, emerging technologies and the future of manufacturing.

From insightful booth conversations to engaging main stage discussions, we connected with industry peers and exchanged perspectives on AI-driven innovation, digital transformation, and the development of more efficient, transparent and sustainable fashion supply chains.

A key highlight of the event was Coats Digital’s Managing Director – Himanshu Mehrotra’s session, “The Evolution of Garment Costing”, which explored the growing influence of FashionTech on critical apparel industry processes.
